My dear sister-in-law was expecting her second child....she lost that precious baby last night due to a miscarriage. If you all could lift her up in prayer it would be greatly appreciated.
The Sun
Still Rises
The sun still rises in the East,
It sets still in the West,
But, we now are bowed down in grief,
For you're gone on tho rest.
What music from God's Hall heard you?
What bade you leave the womb?
And skip up through the starry blue,
By the path or your own tomb?
'Twas not the reaper's cruel scythe,
A claw on death's grim hand,
But a call to God , to peace, to life,
A voice across the strand.
Through heaven's gate you dance with mirth,
And through a glowing hall,
And on such splendor as is not on earth,
You gazed upon in awe.
And there you heard the angels' harps,
And there the saints did sing,
And there above all sparkling stars,
You knelt before the King.
And there the gladsome laughter rang,
Rejoicing 'round the throne,
Loud songs of praise the cherubs sang,
For a child of God come home.
Although we're left to weep a day,
And mourn in this world of men,
Heaven rings with your shouts of play,
And we shall meet again.
The sun still rises in the East,
It sets still in the West,
But you're gone on to heaven's feast,
To live with God at rest.

Your family is in my prayers!
Hi Amity!
I wanted to let you know that I will be praying...it is much better than sitting around and moping about my possible miscarriage.
God has a way of grabbing your attention during miscarriage...I know, I have been through it 3 times already...and maybe 4. Yes it is a time of grief, but also a time of revival as you look back and see how God carried you through those tough times.
I have been asking God all day to show me what is going on (with my pregnancy/possible miscarriage)...He will answer, but in His own perfect time. I am still unsure as to whether I am having a miscarriage or not...this is the hard part...not knowing, that is.
I know that whatever it is, it will be a relief to know...and God's perfect will.
Thank you for your prayers!
I'll be praying, as well!
Heather
