He answered prayer!
Not in the way I sought:
Not in the way that I had thought He ought!
But in His own good way; and I could see
He answered in the fashion best for me.
And I was glad that I had such a share
In His parental love and gracious care,
That thus He answered prayer.
He answered prayer!
But not in my brief hour:
I looked to see the fruit ere yet the flower
Had shed its gales of sweetness o'er my path!
But I have learned that slowest blossoms yeild
The choicest fruit; and so I leave them there
Upon the boughs, assured that they will bear
In time my answered prayer.
He answered prayer!
So sweetly that I stand
Amid the blessing of His wondrous hand,
And marvel at the miracle I see,
The fashion that His love has wrought for me.
Pray on for the impossible and dare,
Upon thy banner this brave motto bear,
"My Father answers prayer."

Hi Amity, I would have thought the same thing too. I would love to be able to have you all over. Maybe it would be on Fridays after lunch. We usually don't do as much then. Hee, hee. It would be fun.
So what exactly did you get from R&S? Just wondering.
With math we don't do everything. After you get the feel of it you can basically look at the TM just to see if there is anything you want to go over with your student.
When I first started using R&S math I use to do everything and it was time consuming that way.
Since there are so many problems in their math book I would use those as example and work them out to make sure they understood instead of using the problems in the TM.
Will you be using the Phonics? Caleb is using the first grade level and I plan to start Brent soon.
Well, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Oh, and Annette wrote a lette to your dd but It's my fault I haven't sent it. I'm sorry. I deciede to just send the letter and I'll send the dessert cup later. I need to find a box. I'll send another dessert cup so both dd will have one.
I need to get Annette some writing material, so she can send it out. Hmmm.....that's a good idea. Maybe a little lap desk with paper, envelopes and stamps.
Blessings,
Linda<><
