Update

Things here have been...a pain.... literally. I have had a SEVERE toothache (an infection) for about 2 weeks. The pain is excruciating!! I am waiting to go to the dentist till my insurance kicks in..which won't be for another week or two. Meanwhile I am taking a natural antibiotic and immune builders.....this has been working I think as the pain has gotten more tolerable. For awhile there I thought I was going to overdose on Advil...lol.

My 3 yr old and 1 y old keep getting sick from my sister-in-laws daughter..who is always sick. I have been working on building up their immune systems but ..ugh!! A week ago 1 yr old had a really high fever for 5 days and now he got another cold. And 3 yr old has a cold too..not as bad but still.

And on top of that yesterday dh broke out in hives....really bad. We hoped it would be gone by this morning so he could go to work but he still had it...and worse. He started to go to work but then the hives started going on his hands and face..well he works in a restaurant so he can't exactly go to work like that. Anywhoo he went to the doctor and they said there is some virus going around that is causing hives!!! So dh is on his way home now...

So please keep our family in your prayers..it would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you have any swelling on your jaw, near the hurt tooth? Are you running a bit of a fever? Is the pain coming from a cavity? Just be careful, because if this is an abcessed tooth, then you need to get to a dentist right away. An abcessed tooth gives bacteria open access to your blood stream, and that bacteria can travel up to your brain, or down to your other vital organs.

Gargle with hydrogen pyroxide each day - it will not only relieve the pain, but can also help reduce the infection, if that's what this is.

UGH! I hate hives! My daughter got them a lot when she was younger. I gave her lots of cornstarch baths. Seemed to help her out.

Hope your tooth starts to feel better! My hubby has had to have a couple of root canals, and he dealt with a lot of pain before getting it fixed.

Blessings!

Hey Amity, Dittos on what Candy said because The General spent a week in the hospital because of an absecess tooth. His Mom gave him Arnica gel and it worked wonders for pain (he rubbed it on his cheek) also I heard clove oil is awesome, never used it, but I have heard it is great.

Your in our prayers.

Many Blessings :)
